Foreman / Supervisor

Job description

We are looking for an proactive and highly organized Foreman / Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of Technicians, Operators and Drivers ensuring that projects are executed safely, on schedule, and according to strict quality guidelines. You will act as the vital link between management and the field, translating project plans into practical, efficient actions. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of heavy equipment, earthworks and transport. And willingness to work in various field locations.

Job requirements

– Minimum of an MBO/technical degree (or equivalent through experience), combined with at least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in earth-works, heavy equipment and transport sector.

– Strong understanding of earth-moving operations, heavy equipment capabilities/ technical and reading technical drawings or site layouts.

– Proven ability to manage, motivate and coach a diverse workforce with a firm but fair leadership style.

– Exceptional organizational skills, high responsibility, a practical “helicopter view” of project flows, a hands-on and problem-solving mindset.

– Able to both speak and write the Dutch and English languages.

– Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to or stay at remote projects / on-sites as required.
